General private law and litigation
My aim is to help my clients assert their rights in every area of general private law, be it in debt
collection, in the enforcement of claims for damages, in the recovery of undue payments, or in
consumer protection matters, and much more.
First and foremost, I try to bring any dispute to a speedy conclusion out of court. If this is not
possible, litigation is the only way for you to enforce your rights. If a litigious approach is needed,
I am able to draw on years of experience in court disputes throughout Austria.
As a result of my law firm's unique international orientation, I have acquired broad knowledge of
cross-border matters, especially in the area of European private law, and thanks to my language
skills I can also review foreign-language documents without needing a translation into German.

Employment Law
As a representative of both employers and employees alike, I am constantly confronted with a wide variety of questions, issues and views relating to employment law.

My law firm's field of activity encompasses the drafting and review of employment, service or work contracts as well as advising my clients on issues relating to the limitation or termination of employment relationships, whether in the form of an amicable dissolution, termination or dismissal, along with the associated consequences.

I also advise my clients on the measures that need to be implemented to ensure employees are protected as best possible. Furthermore, I offer advice relating to temporary employment, especially in connection with the conclusion and termination of temporary employment contracts and taking over employees who are on secondment.

If it is impossible to avoid an issue going to court, I represent my clients and help them to enforce their employment law claims before labour and social courts throughout Austria.

Building Law
Building law deals with a wide range of legal issues relating to civil and public law. This includes contracts, construction activities, guarantees, sureties, and so on.

Warranty and compensation law plays an essential role in building law, in particular, because it may be the case that the contractual partner has either not carried out the agreed work at all or has carried it out inadequately, meaning that improvements or replacement works need to be undertaken (by third parties).

In the event of disputes between the parties involved, my law firm offers professional support during out-of-court negotiations and provides competent representation for in-court enforcement of claims related to building law.

To assess technical issues, I can draw on a network of external consultants and experts in the field of building law, thus ensuring comprehensive professional advice and representation. In turn, this provides optimum preparation for judicial proceedings, or even means that they can be avoided altogether.

Company Law
In view of my many years of ongoing representation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), in particular, one of the main areas my consultancy work focuses on is company law, i.e. the field of law that governs companies' internal and external relationships.

Even the phase during which a company is established plays a decisive role, starting with the issue of which legal form is most advantageous in the case in question and the tax and liability risks that go hand-in-hand with this, through to the actual wording of articles of association.

After all, a well-thought-out partnership agreement not only provides clarity between the shareholders and within the company: it also makes it possible to avoid future difficulties between the shareholders, such as when a shareholder decides to leave the company.

I assist my clients throughout the entire phase of establishing a company, starting with preparing and obtaining all the necessary documents right through to successfully registering the company in the commercial register.

Furthermore, I advise and represent both shareholders and managing directors alike on all matters of corporate law so that they can enforce their rights within the company or avoid personal liability.

Finally, my activities extend to providing advice, offering support and assisting with the structuring of M&A transactions (including cross-border deals) as well as preparing all the documents for the sale or assignment of business and company shares.

Real Estate Law
The term 'real estate law' does not only refer to the classic actions of purchasing and selling a property: it also covers other areas, such as tenancy law and evictions from rented properties, condominium law under the Condominium Act, brokerage law and much more.

The services offered by my law firm extend to providing legal advice and assistance to domestic and foreign buyers and sellers in real estate transactions in Austria, drafting and executing purchase contracts, exchange and donation contracts and arranging all the necessary entries in the land register. For foreign real estate transactions, I am able to rely on an international network of professionals and estate agents.

As a representative of house owners and property management companies, my work encompasses every area of tenancy law. I work on the extrajudicial and judicial enforcement of claims, in particular, such as filing rent and eviction suits against tenants who are in default.

International Desk
My law firm does not only focus on Italian clients: thanks to my multilingual skills (I also speak English, Russian, Spanish and French besides Italian and German), I am also able to offer legal and commercial services to clients from other countries, in their own language.

In particular, this includes providing support and advice in matters relating to settlement and residence law (visa/residence permits), the establishment of business activities and the acquisition of real estate in Austria.

My law firm's clients primarily include individuals from the CIS region (mainly Russia), whom I assist in any kind of matter, whether relating to residence, corporate or criminal law.

In addition, I can rely on a large network of lawyers, tax advisors and other professionals in the EU area as well as in third countries; this enables me to assist clients outside of Austria or Italy, too, and to ensure that they receive efficient and professional support in the country in question.

Italian desk
Italian is my native language, and these linguistic skills paired with my many years of experience in cross-border legal matters make my law firm particularly specialized in advising and representing clients in cases with an Austria-Italy connection.

If intervention or legal representation is necessary in Italy itself, I can call upon a vast network of Italian lawyers, in order to ensure a practical, rapid and competent local service.

In addition, I have access to a dense network of contacts at various levels in Italy, which simplifies the process of realising and implementing my clients' business plans or projects.

The Italian Desk of my law firm also offers consulting services to Italian companies interested in undertaking business activities in Austria.

Criminal law and financial criminal law
A successful defence lives and dies immediate contact being made with a criminal defence lawyer in order to discuss the strategy to be pursued and avoid the danger of making statements that would massively hinder the course of proceedings from the outset.

Thanks to my years of experience in criminal proceedings, I know what is important when preparing a trial: thoroughly studying all the documents, engaging in in-depth discussions with the client about the causa, developing a promising defence strategy, coordinating with the client and taking rapid action. It is impossible to devote too much time to the client in criminal cases, in particular, because every detail, even the smallest one, can be of enormous importance when it comes to obtaining a suspension of the investigation or an acquittal at trial.

Thanks to my extensive language skills, I have repeatedly been entrusted with defending suspects or defendants in international criminal proceedings or extradition proceedings, mainly because of my ability to understand the content of foreign-language documents without the need for interpreters and to communicate with the client in their own language.

Contract Law
Contracts play an essential role in everyday life and in business life, in particular, as they serve to regulate the rights and obligations of the contracting parties in advance, thereby providing clarity about the legal relationship in existence between the parties and the consequences in the event of a breach of contract.

As a result, a professionally drafted contract offers the contracting parties security, predictability and an incentive to adhere to it and respect it.

Consequently, the services of my law firm in the field of contract law extend to drafting tailor-made contracts that are adapted to my clients' special and individual needs, as well as to reviewing pre-existing contracts and enforcing claims resulting from the contract, either in or out of court, in the event of a breach of contract.

Thanks to my law firm's international orientation and my native language skills, we can draft and review contracts in German, Italian and English.

Administrative Law
The term 'administrative law' covers a wide range of different matters that regulate the relationship between the state and its citizens, such as citizenship and construction law, road traffic and trade regulations, matters concerning immigration policing and residence, etc.

This is, without doubt, the most comprehensive field of law within Austria's legal system. My law firm offers professional advice and representation before the competent authorities of the first instance, with the aim of resolving my clients' concerns quickly and purposefully.

In the event of a dispute with the authorities in question, I represent clients before the administrative courts and, if necessary, before the supreme courts (Supreme Administrative Court and Costitutional Court).

Competition law and intellectual property law
Competition law regulates the conduct of market participants with the aim of protecting consumers against unfair practices and to maintaining free competition.

For example, unfair business practices or other unfair acts within commercial transactions between competitors are prohibited under the law on unfair competition (UWG). These include aggressive and misleading commercial practices which are likely to significantly impact a market participant's freedom to make a decision or to take particular actions with regard to the product as a result of harassment, coercion or undue influence, or by false statements being made in order to deceive the individual in question.

Furthermore, certain methods of attracting customers, deploying unfair obstructive competition (such as boycotts and particular forms of sales, advertising and purchasing restrictions) and exploiting third-party services are also prohibited.

I represent companies on an ongoing basis, meaning that I am regularly confronted with questions pertaining to competition law and intellectual property law. My law firm offers competent advice and representation before the courts in these fields of law, especially for the assertion of injunctive relief and claims for damages against dishonest parties, trademark applications or the judicial prosecution of trademark infringements and the assertion of the associated claims.

For complex and/or cross-border intellectual property matters, I can draw on specialised law firms in Austria and abroad.

Commercial law and business law
One particular area that my consulting and representation activities focus on is national and international commercial law and business law, which regulates the rights and obligations of stakeholders participating in economic life, whether they be companies, authorised distributors, franchisees, commercial agents or consumers.

These matters have become more complex and extensive over the years, with the result that comprehensive and professionally sound advice is crucial for generating business success and for enforcing a firm's rights. I have acquired this expertise across the various fields of commercial and business law, as well as in corporate transactions, through years of offering support and ongoing representation to companies, the majority of whom are internationally active.

Consequently, my law firm offers competent and comprehensive advice and representation in all matters relating to commercial law and business law, from examining national and international supply contracts or service contracts, right through to pursuing the judicial enforcement of claims in the event of non-performance or poor performance by the contractual partner in question.

General private law and litigation
My aim is to help my clients assert their rights in every area of general private law, be it in debt
collection, in the enforcement of claims for damages, in the recovery of undue payments, or in
consumer protection matters, and much more.
